Sight Word Song and Chants Fold-a-charts in Color are printed on 18x12 paper and are made so they can be folded and stored like file folders. This economy version is available on less durable, lightweight paper for those who plan to laminate each Fold-a-chart prior to using them with students. Now includes a 4 CD set of more than 4 hours of music which features all of the sight word songs and chants.

The lyrics are written in large print across the two inside sections of the open folder for instruction of large or small groups. 

The featured word is printed in huge dark blue print on the front of the folded folder chart (or in the color of each targeted color word sight word).

The word should face the students before introducing the lyrics. It can also serve as a giant flash card once other songs have been taught. A smaller version of the word is color coded in the upper left hand corner of the folder for your filing and sorting purposes.

If you wish to divide this large set into Dolch lists and other subsets, the green are pre-primer, purple are primer, black are first, blue are second, brown are third and orange are additional words not found on the Dolch word lists.  In addition, number sight words have the # symbol beside them and color words have an * beside them.

Suggestions for how to present the song or chant when first introducing it are given on the back of the folder facing the instructor. Information about how to use the song folders with large or small group tiered or differentiated instruction is included in the set.
